    Firstly, I am working on a friend/client’s PC, Windows 10 64 bit, fully up to date.

    I had done a reinstall of Windows 10 (using a USB drive) as a means of trying to affect a repair.

    This did not work and I have been through all of your processes, to no avail.

    I am beginning to think that the only way to repair this PC is to do a total re-installation of Windows 10. I have all of the client’s files backed up via Backblaze, so am able to restore them.

    Basically I have the “Store” icon missing totally, as well as having several other with TWINUI as their default (Which I cannot change).
    A possible clue to all of this is that I do have, in the Apps & Features (in settings) things like…

    @{Microsoft.BingWeather_4.31.11905.0_X64_8wekyb3d8bbwe?ms-resource://Microsoft.Bing.Weather/Resources/ApplicationTitleShort}

    I have 27 similar entries prior to the first “proper” app entry, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

    I would appreciate any suggestions, as I really don’t want to have to do a full clean install if I can avoid it.

    Hello, I tried to install a clean Windows10, an option given by Microsoft. It should remove all old files and programs from the harddisk and automatically install a clean version of Windows 10 on a clean disc. So far so good, first the program removed all files and programs and then started to install a new version of Windows10. But halfway the installing process I was asked in which language the installation should continue. I had the choice of three languages, I should select one and then click the YES-button. But my keyboard and the mouse that were connected to this computer did not work, so I could not confirm my choice and the installation did not continue. What else can I do?

  6. I receive the 0xC0000225 error message when starting, I wanted to ask you, have you tried the procedure on a working machine, in point 8:

    8.Your PC will automatically reboot several times during the system image is being refreshed without losing your data.
    you say to start the machine, but are you referring to a working PC? I have a laptop with windows 10 that won’t boot, through the windows 10 recovery pen drive, accessing the command prompt, I can see all the data inside the c: partition, I accidentally deleted the boot partition, it was a 610 mb ntfs partition, even if I must say that the problem had already appeared before I deleted this partition, I would like to restore everything without losing data or apps, but your tutorial put me in a bit of difficulty, because it seems that you do everything from a working computer. Could you clarify point 8 or, given the symptoms, give me some advice. Thank you
