Ntuser.dat.log
Ntuser.ini

Copy the following files NTUSER.DAT, ntuser.dat.log, and ntuser.ini

7.Now press Windows Key + R then type the following and hit Enter:

C:\users\%username%

Open user folder using %username%

Note: This will be your new user account folder.

8.Paste the copied content here and reboot your PC.

    Method 5: point number 6 – its says select all files except Ntuser.dat, Ntuser.dat.log, Ntuser.ini.
    But the image shows only 4 files selected? Which one is correct?

    1. Please follow what is written in text, as sometimes I can’t show everything in images because I had already fixed the error on the PC so the files weren’t there.

  2. I would love to try one of these fixes but my computer wont boot up. It just keeps flashing the same message over and over again: “C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop is unavialable. How do I get it to boot so I can try and fix?
